When you stay at Le Meridien Bora Bora resort, you will enjoy a large amount of complimentary activities such as snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking, pirogues (flat-bottomed boats), table tennis, badminton and volleyball in order to enhance your Le Meridien experience. Also at your disposal will be other recreational activities including scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing and waterskiing for an additional charge.

A small infinity swimming pool is complemented by a large inner lagoon where guests can swim among curious fish and turtles. Exploring the area can be done by trips on the submarine or a wonderous glass-bottom boat, excursions to swim with sharks and sting rays, scuba diving and snorkelling, and stimulating sunset cruises, all designed to showcase the magnificent lagoon. Jeep and quad safaris, horse-back riding, and four-wheel driving excursions penetrate the island's mountainous interior. It is also possible to rent bicycles or scooters in Vaitape, the island's main town.

The resort also offers the unique and traditional activity of Polynesian 'pirogue' sailing. A Kanu Sailing guided lagoon tour is available with compliments of Le Meridien Bora Bora from 11:00am to 3:00pm each day. Sun bathe, feel the warm wind on your skin and take in the sights as you gently drift.

And most importantly, come and visit the Bora Bora Turtle Center, ideally located in the heart of the resort, an extension of the inner lagoon area. You will have the unique opportunity to meet, greet, and learn about marine turtles in their natural environment. Le Meridien Bora Bora has been developing a unique concept, offering you the privilege to swim with marine turtles, watch them eat their lunch every morning. Equipped with snorkeling gear, you will swim with them and observe their behavior, in the resort's interior lagoon. We actively participate in the protection of sea turtles, including hawksbill and green turtles. A special program has been implemented to ensure a lively and successful future for the turtles in the ocean. Our overall ecological program includes also coral nursery and coral garden, turtle nursery, and the soon to open ecological center.
